What is your favorite country?
During my travels, many people have asked me what my favorite country is or where I would recommend to go. The answer is not simple, as each country has left its mark on my heart in a unique way, and much depends on different perspectives.
To help you choose your next destination based on your interests and the type of trip or vacation you want, I decided to draw up mini rankings divided by topic. Obviously, I excluded my beloved Italy (because I would be biased) and I based myself on the experiences I had in the various countries I visited.

Fun

Brazil
Between samba, festivals of all kinds, beautiful boys (and girls) and the most famous carnival in the world, Brazil has definitely been the place where I have been able to let loose the most in my entire life.

Thailand
The fact that alcohol is super cheap doesn't help at all, on the contrary.
From north to south I have always found an occasion to celebrate!
Don't miss the full moon party, one of the most famous festivals in the world!

Spain
We Europeans know it well, and it is often the destination of our holidays, especially the island that is not there, the famous Ibiza! Bring a nice little sum of money, because it is very expensive, but it is really worth it!
History

Cambodia
A macabre, recent and scandalous story. They killed and destroyed each other, eliminating the intellectual part of this beautiful country. I had shivers while walking in the prison of Phnom Penh.

Vietnam
The only country that has managed to give the Americans a hard time. Despite being so small in both territory and stature, they have managed to resist them thanks to their cunning and knowledge of the territory.

Poland
A country that because of its central position in Europe has suffered many injustices, and is witness to the most evil part of the human being. Arbeit macht frei, they said.
Trekking

Argentina
The wonderful Patagonia. Including Chile, I wrote Argentina because that's where my favorite mountain, Fitz Roy, is located. Be prepared for a 20km hike to each national park, but it's so worth it!

Iceland
The word "Wow" is mentioned at least 10 times a day. Every 100 meters there is something incredible, waterfalls, glaciers, extraordinary landscapes, it seems to be on Mars! Earth and fire and home of the throne of swords!

Australia
Being not only a country but also a continent it has the advantage of the vastness of the territory. You can choose from a hundred national parks, from deserts to forests full of waterfalls. A trekking paradise!
Food

South Korea
The only country in the world where I have not missed Italian cuisine for a single day.
I learned to love spicy food, and now I'm a kimchi lover.
Favorite dinner: BBQ AND SOJU!

Japan
Life changes color when you try these Japanese delights. I felt like I was in an anime while eating ramen, sushi, okonomiyaki and udon. I recommend trying the tea ceremony, incredible!

Türkiye
A mix between Greek and Italian cuisine, very similar to Sicilian. Breakfast is huge, a real buffet full of everything. They have exquisite desserts, like Baklava, I highly recommend it!
Welcome

China
If they had told me I would not have believed it, but instead it is the place where I felt most welcomed in the whole world. They always treated me like an exceptional guest, gave me gifts, took care of me when I was sick and showed me the majesty of this country.

Burma
It is the most original country I have ever visited in my life, probably because it has recently opened to tourism. Wonderful and helpful people. They offered me food, help of all kinds, despite the obvious poverty.

Taiwan
The first country where I hitchhiked, and it was impossible not to because the people are so welcoming that even if they don't speak your language they will take you right to the door of your hotel, plus the country where I used couchsurfing the most.
Sea & Ocean

Philippines
Well guys the video I posted speaks for itself honestly. White beaches, crystal clear waters, beautiful landscapes, romantic sunsets. I don't know what else to do to convince you to visit this wonderful country!

Australia
The vastness still plays in its favor. Huge beaches, the end of which you can't see with the naked eye. Inhabited by wonderful animals, including happily jumping kangaroos and all kinds of marine life, crazy snorkelling!

Egypt
If you are a diver like me you can't miss the Red Sea coral reef, I personally think it is the most beautiful. Warm and clear waters, corals with vivid colors and many forms of marine life to discover!
