Philippines: An Archipelago of 7107 Magnificent Islands

  1. Departure to Manila, and exploration of the city in three days (at the end of this description, I will add the link to my website and the post about Manila if you want more information about it) plus one day on a trip to Tagaytay to visit an Italian colony and see the famous Taal volcano, surrounded by its beautiful lake. If you have time, I recommend a thorough visit.

  2. Five days in Boracay, an island dedicated to fun, with stunning beaches, trekking with spectacular views, unforgettable sunsets, and plenty of water sports.

  3. Two days exploring the island of Cebu. We went to Oslob for the whale sharks, but I highly advise against it because it’s a true torture for those poor animals. In fact, I didn’t want to include it in the video because I deeply regret having done it, especially after swimming with this magnificent creature in Western Australia, out in the ocean, where it was free and happy. After that, we visited the Kawasan Falls, beautiful for their turquoise water, and finished our island tour in Moalboal, the most famous beach in Cebu.

  4. Two days on the island of Malapascua, a tiny paradise in the middle of the Visayas Sea. It’s super famous for the many marine creatures that surround it, and I spent an entire day snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. On the second day, I took a boat to Kalanggaman Island, another little paradise with a beautiful stretch of white sand, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of snorkeling opportunities.

  5. Four days in Bohol, famous for its chocolate hills. This island has much to offer, including super dense forests crossed by a river that I admired on a mini buffet cruise and then through the adrenaline of ziplining. Besides the forests inhabited by these beautiful mini monkeys that are nocturnal, there are also heavenly waterfalls, gorgeous white beaches, and islands where you can go cliff jumping and enjoy the crystal-clear water for some snorkeling with turtles and all kinds of fish.

  6. One day back in Cebu to visit the city (I recommend it especially for those interested in religion; this is where the Spaniards began to profess the Christian faith).

  7. Four days in Siargao, the island that stole my heart. Famous for surfing, snorkeling, natural pools (I absolutely recommend Magpupungko), and the locals, who are super kind and helpful. This island is not very touristy and has a bit of a hippie vibe, but if you’re interested in immersing yourself in Filipino culture, it’s the ideal place to mingle with the locals.

  8. A week on the island of Palawan, including 5 days exploring El Nido, the paradise of the Philippines (I recommend Tour A and Tour C) and two days in Puerto Princesa to visit the famous Underground River, part of UNESCO and, according to Filipinos, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.

My tour ended here, but for those with time, I highly recommend also visiting Coron Island, above Palawan. I will definitely return to do that.
