Australia: the land of kangaroos

Australia is the country where I discovered my passion for travel, my first home after Italy, in fact I lived here for two years, in 2014 and 2016. Unfortunately, a lot of time has passed, and I haven't managed to recover the files from 2014 yet, so I can only show you the West coast. Australia is wonderful from top to bottom, but I like wild and less touristy places and, without taking anything away from the East coast, the West coast is queen in this.

Perth to Esperance

This first video shows various images of the trip I took in the South West of Australia together with my Swiss friends, from Perth to Esperance and back. Our itinerary starts in Perth , between the dives of " Blackwall Reach " in the magnificent Swan River, to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Rottnest Island . Then it continues along the coast to the wonderful vineyards of Margaret River and returns inland to travel through numerous National Parks full of imposing eucalyptus trees that will leave you speechless, such as the Greater Beedelup National Park with its suspension bridge, the Gloucester National Park with its 60-meter tree to climb with your heart sure to jump out of your chest (in Australia it is said that it is the tree with the highest observatory in the world) until arriving at the very famous "Valley of the Giants", where you can even walk inside these majestic giant trees and admire the view from above via the "Tree Top Walk".

And then we are back on the coast among the rocky panoramas of William Bay National Park , and the wonderful beaches of Denmark , like Ocean Beach. We then admire the power of the ocean in Torndirrup National Park where it unleashes unstoppable in the “Natural Bridge” and the “Gap” until we get closer to Albany , where the serene panoramas of the Wind farms and the breathtaking beaches of Gull Rock National Park and Two Peoples Bay await us. But before arriving in Esperance with its wonderful Pink Lake, here we are relaxing in Bremer Bay , ready to enjoy one of the most beautiful national parks in Australia, the “ Fitzgerald River National Park ” which with its panoramic points and its beaches has stolen my heart. The return to Perth is very short, but here is the icing on the cake that cannot be missed, “ Wave Rock ” where, in addition to admiring the rocky panoramas of the hinterland, you can easily surf a natural rock in the shape of a wave.
